The Organization is A Firefighters Labor Union That Represents Its Members In Labor Relations and Workplace Matters, Including Collective Bargaining Negotiations, Grievance Processing, and Workers Compensation Matters With Legal Support. The Organization Conducts Monthly Membership Meetings to Address Union Business and Promote Member Engagement, Fellowship, and Camaraderie. It Participates In Labor and Legislative Conferences to Advocate for Issues Affecting Firefighters and Public Safety Professionals. In Furtherance of Its Mission and Community Support Goals, The Organization Provides Charitable Contributions to Organizations Such As Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Special Olympics of Ohio, First Responder Bridge, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Starr House, and Other IAFF-affiliated Locals. The Organization Also Provides Scholarships to High School and College Students to Support Educational Advancement and Community Development.
