The Organizations Directors (school Superintendents) Meet Monthly. The Benefits of These Meetings Include The Following: (a) Networking and Support Among Superintendents In Northeastern North Carolina. These Meetings Are of Particular Importance to New Superintendents Who Are Trying to Lead Districts for The First Time. (b) Collaboration On State Guidelines and Mandates Should Be Executed. (c) Provides A Venue for State and Regional Education Leaders to Meet With Local Superintendents. (d) Provides An Avenue for Superintendents to Discover New Products and Methods That Might Benefit Their School Districts. The Curriculum and Instruction Leaders In Each Member District Also Meet Monthly to Discuss PD Needs and Other Issues Occurring Throughout The Region. The Superintendents and C&I Leaders Meet Together At Least Once During The Year. Meetings Are Attended By The 19 Member Superintendents and Approximately 32 Curriculum Leaders.
