THE OKT, WHICH CONNECTS THE OZARK TRAIL & THE OZARK HIGHLANDS TRAIL to COMPLETE THE TRANS OZARK TRAIL, ASPIRES to PROVIDE A NATIONAL SCENIC TRAIL EXPERIENCE IN and AROUND THE OZARKS, THE OLDEST and MOST SIGNIFICANT AREA of RUGGED TOPOGRAPHY BETWEEN THE APPALACHIANS and THE ROCKIES. THE OKT INCLUDES A SPECIAL SECTION, DAVIDS TRAIL, HONORING THE COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTIONS of DAVID FLOYD, A LOCAL COMMUNITY LEADER, and OUTDOOR ENTHUSIAST. DAVIDS
