THE OKT, WHICH CONNECTS THE OZARK TRAIL & THE OZARK HIGHLANDS TRAIL to COMPLETE THE TRANS OZARK TRAIL, ASPIRES to PROVIDE A NATIONAL SCENIC TRAIL EXPERIENCE IN and AROUND THE OZARKS, THE OLDEST and MOST SIGNIFICANT AREA of RUGGED TOPOGRAPHY BETWEEN THE APPALACHIANS and THE ROCKIES.
