STAFF AT VET CLINICS and SHELTERS ARE RECORDING SCARY HIGH NUMBERS of SUICIDES. BURNOUT is RAMPANT. WE SEND BOXES of GOODIES WITH NOTES of VALIDATION to LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE "SEEN- and "HEARD." THEIR FEEDBACK HAS BROUGHT US to OUR KNEES WITH TEARS AS WE WITNESS THE IMPACT of SUCH SMALL GESTURES.
