What they do

Domestic Rabbits Are Wonderful But Expensive Pets. Most Owners Are Not Aware of The Costs Involved to Properly Care for Exotics When They Select A Rabbit As A Pet. We Accept Surrendered, Abandoned, and Neglected House Rabbits. We Spay or Neuter Them As Necessary, Treat Medical Problems Including Treatment for Pets of Very Low Income Owners Whose Only Option Would Have Been Euthanasia Due to Cost of Medical Treatment. These People Pay Us Back Over Time As They Can. Last Year We Were Reimbursed $7,180 for Urgent Care Treatment, Including Eye Problems, Ecuniculi, Injuries Requiring Amputation of Limbs, and Extreme Dental Problems. We Provide Foster Homes for The Rabbits and Adopt Them Into Suitable Families Seeking House Rabbits As Companion Animals.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
