THE SPECIAL NEEDS DAYHAB MISSION is to PROVIDE A SAFE, LOVING, NURTURING, SUPPORTIVE, INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CAN GROW, LEARN, and GET INVOLVED WITH THEIR COMMUNITY. WITH THE HELP of LOCAL CHURCHES, BUSINESSES, COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS, and SCHOOLS, OUR GOAL is to HAVE OUR SPECIAL NEEDS POPULATION GO ON WEEKLY FIELD TRIPS WHERE THEY CAN BE ENGAGED PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY, SPIRITUALLY, and COGNITIVELY. AS THE FOUNDERS of THE SPECIAL NEEDS DAYHAB and PARENTS of A SPECIAL NEEDS SON, ERIC and MARCI LITTLETON AIM NOT ONLY to ENHANCE THE INDEPENDENCE of THESE YOUNG ADULTS, BUT ALSO to FOSTER LONG-LASTING and FORMATIVE SOCIAL CONNECTIONS to ENRICH THE LIVES of THESE INDIVIDUALS.
