THESE EVENTS ARE DIRECTLY CONNECTED to and IN FURTHERANCE of THE EXEMPT PURPOSE of THE ORGANIZATION, AS STATED IN OUR BY-LAWS, BY BRINGING TOGETHER THE ENTIRE RESTON COMMUNITY AS WELL AS ATHLETES and FANS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY and AROUND THE WORLD to PARTICIPATE IN THIS DEMANDING AMATEUR SPORTING EVENT WHETHER AS AN ATHLETE, A VOLUNTEER or A SPECTATOR to ENJOY and LEARN MORE ABOUT THE SPORTS THAT COMPRISE A TRAITHLON. THE ATHLETES VILLAGE for THE 2015 WORLD POLICE and FIRE GAMES WAS IN RESTON and THE EVENT HOSTED 12,000 ATHLETES FROM 70 COUNTRIES.
