THE SOCIETY PROVIDES for EARLY EDUCATION THROUGH THE AMITY LEARNING CENTER of FREEPORT, A NATIONAL ASSOCIATION for THE EARLY EDUCATION of YOUNG CHILDREN-ACCREDITED and ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT of CHILDREN and FAMILY SERVICES-LICENSED ORGANIZATION, SERVING CHILDREN FROM 6 WEEKS to 12 YEARS OLD THROUGH A CREATIVE CURRICULUM. ADDITIONALLY, THE SOCIETY SUPPORTS THE COMMUNITY BY OPERATING A LOCAL THRIFT SHOP and MANAGING A COMMUNITY CAMPUS THAT HOUSES THEIR OPERATIONS, AS WELL AS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS and OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS WITH THE SAME COMMUNITY-BASED FOCUS.
