THE PURPOSE of THE PLAINFIELD ATHLETIC CLUB INC. (PAC) is to PROVIDE and PROMOTE A QUALITY BASEBALL and SOFTBALL RPOGRAM for THE RESIDENTS of PLAINFIELD ILLINOIS and THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THE PURPOSE is ALSO to HELP CHILDREN DEVELOP BASEBALL/SOFTBALL SKILLS and LEARN GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP. THE INTENT of THE ORGANIZATION is to ALLOW AS MANY YOUTH AS POSSIBLE to PARTICIPATE. THE CLUB CONDUCTS BOTH A SPRING/SUMMER LEAGUE and A FALL LEAGUE. PAC is ALSO INVOLVED IN SPONSORSHIP of A TRAVEL BASEBALL/SOFTBALL PROGRAM, WHICH COMPETES WITH TEAMS FROM OTHER COMMUNITIES, ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS, and TEACHES VALUABLE LESSONS IN SPORTSMANSHIP. PLAINFIELD is A GROWING COMMUNITY and THE PAC CONTINUES to GROW ALONG WITH THE COMMUNITY, and is SERVING INCREASING NUMBERS of PARTICIPANTS EACH YEAR.
