THE AGENCY is COMMITTED to PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AIMING to IMPROVE THE QUALITY of LIFE and to PROMOTE RECOVERY of THE PEOPLE SERVED. THIS CONTINUITY of SERVICE RANGES FROM EDUCATION and PREVENTION THROUGH ASSESSMENT, TREATMENT, and AFTERCARE. EACH SERVICE is CHARACTERIZED BY BEING DELIVERED IN THE LEAST RESTRICTIVE SETTING POSSIBLE; BY BEING ACCESSABLE to ALL RESIDENTS of MOULTRIE COUNTY; and PROVIDED WITHOUT REGARD to RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, DISABILITY, GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, AGE, or NATIONAL ORIGIN. THROUGHOUT THE LIFE SPAN, INDIVIDUALS ARE FACED WITH A VARIETY of SITUATIONS THAT OFTEN BECOME UNMANAGEABLE. THE PRIMARY GOAL of THE MOULTRIE COUNTY COUNSELING CENTER is to ASSIST THE INDIVIDUAL IN MEETING THE UNIQUE and OFTEN DIFFICULT CHALLENGES of LIVING WITH MENTAL ILLNESS, EMOTIONAL STRIFE, AND/OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE.
