Self-Empowerment, Health Equity & Holistic Wellness WDC Provided Outreach, Education, and Culturally Tailored Services to Over 230 Individuals, Including Undocumented, Pregnant Women and Children, to Improve Access to Medicaid. We Conducted Targeted Community Outreach Around Measles Prevention, Vaccine Awareness, and Access to Culturally Responsive Care. WDC Also Delivered Cultural Competency Training to 67 Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Providers, Equipping Them With Tools to Better Serve African Immigrant and Refugee Communities. These Efforts Addressed Systemic Barriers to Health Access and Promoted Wellness Across Underserved Populations In The Denver Metro Area and Beyond.
