WE FUND RESEARCH to ADVANCE THE UNDERSTANDING of THE CAUSES of and TREATMENTS for SPASMODIC DYSPHONIA and RELATED VOICE CONDITIONS, and EVENTUALLY A CURE. WE EDUCATE to HELP REDUCE THE TIME to DIAGNOSIS. WE RAISE AWARENESS to REDUCE THE ISOLATION AROUND HAVING A VOICE DISORDER. WE PROVIDE SUPPORT to THOSE AFFECTED and THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH SYMPOSIUMS, SUPPORT GROUPS, and ONLINE RESOURCES SO THAT NO ONE FEELS ALONE. THE NSDA is DEDICATED to HELPING THOSE WITH THESE DISORDERS OVERCOME ADVERSITY and THRIVE BY CREATING A COMMUNITY THAT CARES ABOUT THEM and THEIR VOICE.
