DOWNINGTOWN RESILIENCE FUND
EIN 38-4273002 · Emergency Assistance (P60)
What they do
We Are Working to Develop A Fund for Flood Relief. There Has Not Been A Disaster, So We Are Kind of At A Standstill. We Held Meetings, Which Incurred Mailing Costs. We Hired A Consultant to Develop A Flood Control Plan That We Gave to Downingtown Borough for Grant Applications. Two State Grants Were Awarded to The Borough, Totaling About $700,000. We Thought We Would Receive An EPA Thriving Communities Grant to Continue Work On Mitigation Plans, But The Grant Was Eliminated At The Federal Level. We Thought We Could Mail This In, But It Was Returned. We Did Not Know What to Do and Then We Found This Site to Do It for Free. The Irs Letter Asked Us to Request That Penalty Be Waived. We Make That Request
