Program Support
<p>Each year, our team provides critical support to hundreds of individuals, helping them to rebuild their lives and find safety and stability. However, due to recent funding reductions to the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), our organization has encountered a 2025 budget cut of over $400,000, impacting our ability to provide essential services. This has affected several of our programs, including partnerships with local providers who offer reduced-rate services in areas such as mental health counseling, legal representation, and housing assistance. Given the ongoing and expanding needs across Washington and surrounding counties, we know that additional funding resources would be invaluable in supporting our efforts to maintain and expand our services, ensuring that every survivor who reaches out to FRIENDS receives the compassionate, comprehensive support they need.</p>
