ADMINISTRATORS, FACULTY and STAFF MEMBERS COME FROM MANY RACES and FROM MANY LANDS, TEACHING, WORKING, and STUDYING ALONGSIDE INDIVIDUALS BORN IN INNER-CITY NEIGHBORHOODS of CHICAGO. THE UNIVERSITY HAS DISTINGUISHED ITSELF AS A KEY PLAYER IN THE ADVANCEMENT of PEOPLE LIVING ON THE SOUTH and WEST SIDE of THE CITY.
