What they do
THE MISSION of THE MANITOWOC CHIEFS YOUTH FOOTBALL ORGANIZATION is to PROVIDE AN ORGANIZED, EDUCATIONAL FOOTBALL PROGRAM for PLAYERS IN 5TH THROUGH 8TH GRADES. WE OFFER EQUAL OPPORTUNITY for OUR ATHLETES to LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS and PROPER TECHNIQUES of THE GAME of TACKLE FOOTBALL. THE ULTIMATE GOAL is for EACH CHILD to DEVELOP PROFICIENCY and A GREATER UNDERSTANDING of THE GAME WHILE STRESSING THE PRINCIPLES of SUCCESS - HARD WORK, PRIDE, SELF-CONFIDENCE, SPORTSMANSHIP and TEAMWORK. IT is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to PROVIDE A COMPETITIVE, YET SAFE ENVIRONMENT to FOSTER OUR PLAYERS APPRECIATION of THE GAME and DEVELOP LIFE SKILLS THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE GAME of FOOTBALL.
Are they doing good?
The public paperwork has several good signs. Now check whether the charity can show who it helped.
Here is the honest answer: A tax form shows money and paperwork. It cannot prove that people, animals, or the community were truly helped.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Good paperwork is a good sign—not proof. The best answer comes when the charity can show what it changed, who it helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
Financial picture
A plain-language look at the latest Form 990 figures available. These numbers help you ask better questions; they do not, by themselves, rate whether a charity is good or bad.
