What they do

We Provided Free Home Repairs to 26 Households Affecting Approximately 55 Individuals. These Are Low-income Households That Are Either Financially or Physically Unable to Complete The Repairs Themselves. We Have Been Repairing Homes for Low-income, Disadvantaged Sheboygan County Residents Since 1998 (elderly, Disabled, Veterans, Single Parent Households, and Households With Young Children). We Use A 25-point Checklist to Bring Applicant Homes Up to Our Standards for A Safe, Warm, and Dry Living Space. A Sampling of The Types of Repairs We Do Include The Following; Install Ramps, Replace Unsafe Stairs, Replace Windows or Doors, Repair Roof Leaks, Install Smoke or CO Detectors, Install GFCI Outlets, Install Grab Bars, and Small Plumbing Repairs.
