What they do
IN 2022 THE FARMORY CONTINUED to ENJOY PROGRAMMATIC SUCCESS AS IT CONTINUED ITS FARMORYWORKS AQUACULTURE TECHNICIAN PROGRAM, WHERE INDIVIDUALS LEARNED AQUACULTURE CONCEPTS THROUGH WEEKLY WEBINARS or IN-PERSON LECTURES and HANDS-ON TECHNICAL PRACTICE IN OUR FISH HATCHERY. UNFORTUNATELY, THESE PROGRAMMATIC SUCCESS WERE OFFSET BY ANOTHER YEAR of CHALLENGES IN FISH PRODUCTION, RESULTING IN SIGNIFICANT LOSSES FROM OUR HATCHERY OPERATION. AFTER THOUGHTFUL CONSIDERATION, THE FARMORY DECIDED THAT IT WAS BEST to CEASE OPERATION of THE ENTITY ALTOGETHER, RATHER THAN RISK ADDITIONAL SUBSTANTIAL LOSSES. THEREFORE, THE FISH HATCHERY, ALONG WITH ALL PROGRAMMING OPERATIONS of THE FARMORY CEASED AS of 12/31/2022 and ALL ASSETS and LIABILITIES WERE TRANSFERRED to AN AFFILIATED ORGANIZATION.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
