What they do
Our Program Service Accomplishments Include Feeding The Hungry In The Cuyuna Range Geographical Area Who Are Not Able to Afford Food Due to The Loss of Employment or Other Economic Issues. During 2024 We Distributed 116,510 Pounds of Food to Households and Individuals. We Served 2255 Households, More Than 20% Included Children, Some of Which Were On A Recurring Basis. In June 2024 We Transitioned to The Shopping Model Where Our Clients Are Able to Choose Their Own Food Items Rather Than Primarily Receiving Pre-assembled Boxes. This Has Allowed Us to Provide Healthier, Fresh Food Items. Additionally, Donations of Food Items From Local Supermarkets and Garden Organizations Have Increased Our Food Options.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
