What they do

Eye & I is An Art and Education Organization Supporting Art and Community Education Programs In Africa and The Diaspora. In 2021 We Began Working On Our First Short Film Which Was Supported By The Museum of The African Diaspora. This Project Will Create Space to Have Conversations Around Decolonization and Affirming Identities of People of African Descent. We Are Also In Production With Our First Public Mural Project Based In Newark NJ. This This is A Collaboration With Young Women and Non-binary People to Promote Positive Identities Within Newark. We Are Continuing to Collaborate With The Nenneh Children Fund In Sierra Leone to Sustain The Arts In Education Project Facilitating Workshops So That Young People Will Have The Opportunity to Build Literacy and Communication Skills Using The Arts. Finally Eye & I Publishing is Slowly Growing With Our Second Artist Publication Hala: An Unexpected Gift.
