ON MARCH 10 WE WERE INFORMED THAT WE COULD NO LONGER GO INTO THE FACILITY DUE to COVID- 19. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN CORRESPONDING WITH UP to 40 MEN IN BOTH THE IOWA STATE PRISONS and THE FEDERAL SYSTEM ACROSS THE COUNTRY. WE CONTINUE to SEND MATERIALS to THE MENIN PRISON and RECEIVE PHONE CALLS FROM THEM OFTEN. I WILL CONTINUE to STAY IN TOUCH WITH MEN IN PRISON EVEN AFTER I CAN RETURN to THE FACILITY AT OAKDALE IN PRISON.
