THE SOCIETY WORKS to RESTORE THE BUILDING BY PURSUING FUNDING FOR, and OVERSEEING THE HISTORICALLY-ACCURATE RESTORATION OF, THE HISTORIC 1902 U.S. LIFE-SAVING SERVICE STATION AT AMAGANSETT. THE STRUCTURE, and THE LAND UPON WHICH IT STANDS, is OWNED BY THE TOWN of EAST HAMPTON. THE SOCIETY is A NONPROFIT 501(C(3) CORPORATION DOMICILED IN THE STATE of NEW YORK. THE PROPOSED NONPROFIT CORPORATION PLANS to RAISE FUNDS to COMPLETE THE RESTORATION of THE LIFE-SAVING STATION. THE COPORATION WILL ENTER INTO A MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN of EAST HAMPTON and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for CONTROLLING THE USES to WHICH THE BUILDING WIL BE PUT. THESE to CONVEY THE HISTORY of THE U.S. LIFE-SAVING SERVICE and ITS SUCCESSOR, THE U.S. COAST GUARD; and VARIOUS
