THE ORGANIZATION REMEMBERS and HONORS THE 412 FIRST RESPONDERS WHO HEROICALLY LOST THEIR LIVES WHILE ATTEMPTING to SAVE OTHERS ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001, THE 2,565 MEN, WOMEN, and CHILDREN WHO DIED IN THE TERRORIST ATTACKS IN NEW YORK, WASHINGTON, D.C., and PENNSYLVANIA, and THOSE WHO HAVE SINCE DIED FROM ILLNESSES RESULTING FROM EXPOSURE to THE ATTACKS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION REMEMBERS and HONORS THE ESTIMATED 1.5 MILLION U.S. MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO HAVE DIED IN ALL WARS DEFENDING and PRESERVING OUR FREEDOM, AS WELL AS U.S. SERVICE MEMBERS WHO HAVE DIED AS A RESULT of THE EFFECTS of PTSD.
