What they do
Broken Tree Community Center (BTCC) Has Successfully Delivered A Meaningful Camp Experience to Individuals Who Are Differently Abled for The Past Ten Years. Camp is Held At The YMCA of The Rockies In Estes Park, Colorado, Which Allows for Camp Experiences Including Swimming, Hiking, Rock Climbing, Campfires, Horseback Riding, Arts and Crafts, Spirituality, Emotional Development, and Being Engaged In Nature. Due to Popularity, We Are Now Offering A Weekend Winter Camp As Well As The 5-day Summer Camp. In 2024, We Were Able to Serve 13 People Per Camp. This Camp Not Only Helps The Campers Themselves, But It Gives The Parents Much-needed Respite and Time to Take Care of Themselves. We Have Had Many Parents Tell Us How Much They Appreciate The Rare Break From Caregiving Responsibilities.
