Schoolyard Farms Served 1,324 Students Through Their Food and Farms Education Program. 295 Students From Candy Lane Elementary Received 12 On-site Garden Lessons, With Each Student Averaging 10.35 Hours On The Farm. Over 700 Students Tasted Nine Local Fruits and Vegetables Through A Monthly Tasting Program That Lets Students Explore The Diversity of Our Local Produce. Ten Students From New Urban High School Spent 12 Hours Working On Their School Farm While Receiving Service Learning Credits. 8,708 Pounds of Fruits and Vegetables Were Harvested and Distributed to 68 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Members Over The Course of 20 Weeks. 110 Pounds of Produce Was Donated to The Community. 335 Students Spent An Average of 4.5 Hours On The Farm During Field Trips.
