Knowledge is Power Scholarship and Leadership Program: Caminos De Accion Works With A Local Nonprofit In El Salvador Called CIS (Centro De Intercambio Y Solidaridad) to Provide Scholarships and Services In The Community of Los Tehuistes, La Paz. $38,872.01 Were Granted to 10 High School and 11 University Scholarship Recipients. University Students Received $200/month for Their Tuition and Expenses, While High School Students Received $100 Per Month. While These Scholarships Served 16 Students Directly, They Also Highly Impacted The Families of These 16 Students. As for Services for The Students In The Program, We Provide (via CIS) Wifi, Mental Health Services, Tutoring, Educational Materials, Program T-shirts, Materials for An Environmental Awareness School Run By Scholarship Recipients, and A Scholarship Student Mentor. We Also Reimburse CIS to Hire Our Director to Run This Program.
