FORM 990EZ - PART III - LINE 28 - PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS - WE RAISE FUNDS to SUPPORT THE MCHENRY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS. THE FAIR is THE LARGEST EVENT of THE YEAR. THIS CONTINUES THE TRADITION of EDUCATING OUR COMMUNITY ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE of AGRICULTURE, AS WELL AS BEING INVOLVED IN OUR COUNTY FAIR. THE FACILITES ARE SHARED WITH ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS THE UNIVERSITY of ILLINOIS WITH THE LOCAL 4-H CLUB. THE MCHENRY COUNTY FARM BUREAU EVENTS and MASTER GARDENERS WHO ALL SHARE OUR MISSION. MCHENRY COUNTY FAIR ALSO SUPPORTS MANY LOCAL and STATE ORGANIZATIONSS INCLUDING HIGH SCHOOL SPORT TEAMS and CLUBS ASSISTING THEM WITH FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES DURING THE FAIR.
