IN PURSUANCE of THESE PURPOSES THE CORPORATION SHALL HAVE THE POWERS to CARRY ON ANY BUSINESS or OTHER ACTIVITY PROPER and CONSISTENT WITH MAINTAINING TAX EXEMPT STATUS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3). FUTURE JOINT ACTIVITIES of THE THREE MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS MAY BE ADDED, BUT PRESENTLY CTA FACILITATES TWO ANNUAL EVENTS. THOSE EVENTS ARE KNOWN AS THE TRI-ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE and THE SHORT COURSE.
