YO (Heaven Through The Backdoor) Project Description: Unfolding In A Magical World of Memory and Imagination, YO Explores The Mystery of Death Through The Unconventional Friendship of Anna and Yo, Two Kindred Spirits Born 49 Years Apart. Using Intricately Built Miniature Sets and Other Creations, The Film Juxtaposes Intimate Vrit of Yos Last Year With Annas Creative Interpretations of Her Stories.In 2024 Final Stage Editorial and Production On This Film Was The Main Focus of Our Creative Work. We Showed An Excerpt of The Film In Los Angeles As A Part of The Sundance Institute Alumni Focus Event. We Are Currently In Post-Production and Plan to Premiere The Project In Early 2026. The Project Received Support From Tribeca Film Institute, Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program, The National Endowment for The Arts, The Creative Work Fund, Headlands Center for The Arts Among Others
