THE CORPORATION is ORGANIZED and SHALL BE OPERATED AS A NONPARTISAN ORGANIZATION THAT (I) PROMOTES ECONOMIC GROWTH IN WISCONSIN, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, IOWA, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, OHIO, MISSOURI, KANSAS, NEBRASKA, SOUTH DAKOTA, and NORTH DAKOTA (THE MIDEWESTERN REGION); (II) PROMOTES THE IMPROVEMENT of BUSINESS CONDITIONS IN THE MIDWESTERN REGION; and (III) PROMOTES THE COMMON ECONOMIC INTERESTS of COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES IN THE MIDWESTERN REGION, ALL WITHIN THE MEANING of CODE SECTION 501(C)(6). THE CORPORATION WILL PROVIDE LEADERSHIP ON MAJOR ECONOMIC, SOCIAL and POLITICAL ISSUES to IMPROVE THE QUALITY of LIFE IN THE MIDWEST REGION.
