The Creamers Field Migration Station (CFMS) and Tree Swallow Ecology Projects Are Two Long-term Avian Monitoring Programs Ton Creamers Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, Fairbanks, Alaska. In 2024, ASI Safely Captured and Banded 1,640 Birds of 32 Species On These Projects, and Monitored 76 Nests. These Efforts Were Supported By 2,765 Volunteer Hours. We Offered 74 Education Programs Including K-12 Field Trips and Guided Walks for 3,046 Individuals. We Trained 19 Youth and Teens Who Volunteered 1,153 Volunteer Hours. Tens of Thousands More People Were Reached Through Social Media and Digital Outreach, and Many Thousands More Alaskans and Visitors Were Reached Via Informal Presentations In The Field, Signage On Trails, and An Interpretive Display In The Creamers Refuge Visitor Center.
