What they do
Our Mission is to Rescue, Foster, Transport, and Find Homes for Unwanted, Abandoned and Abused Dogs In The Carolinas. Halfway There Rescues Goal is to Pull At-risk Pets From Over-crowded Shelters In North and South Carolina, Place Them In Temporary Foster Homes, and Ultimately Find Them Permanent, Loving Homes. We Also Offer A Community Outreach Program That Provides Free Veterinary Care, Including Spay/neuter, for Those Who Cannot Afford Services for Their Pets. In 2025, Halfway There Rescue Rescued and Found Homes for 207 Animals. In 2025, Halfway There Rescue Rescued and Found Homes for 207 Animals. All Animals Are Fully Vetted & Sterilized Before Finding Their Forever Homes. Collaboratively With Project Safe Pet, Halfway There Rescue Assisted With Spay/neuter of Over 1511 Cats and 425 Dogs In 3 Local Counties.
