MAKERS ENTERED QUILTS to BE JUDGED IN MULTIPLE CATEGORIES and ENTRANTS RECEIVED THE JUDGES WRITTEN EVALUATION. AWARDS WERE GIVEN OUT IN VARIOUS CATEGORIES of QUILTING SKILL. PROFITS FROM THE FESTIVAL/CONFERENCE WERE DISTRIBUTED to THE MEMBER GUILDS WHO USE THOSE PROCEEDS for EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING. NO INDIVIDUALS RECEIVE COMPENSATION for THEIR SERVICES.
