OTHER PATIENTS HAVE NEEDED VERY HIGH RISK SURGERY and THEIR LOCAL SURGEONS LACKED THE EXPERTISE for SUCH PROCEDURES. THESE PATIENTS ARE ABLE to BE TREATED BY DOCTORS IN THE UNITED STATES. MOST of THE CHILDREN HAVE HAD MULTIPLE SURGERIES and HAVE NEEDED to RETURN to THE UNITED STATES SEVERAL TIMES. HAPPY and HEALTHY KIDS PROVIDED ACCESS to NEEDED TREATMENT, CLOTHING, MEDICATION, and TEMPORARY ACCOMODATIONS for THESE CHILDREN.
