ICGs After School Matters (ASM) 2023 Summer Program Offered High School Age Students Dynamic Arts and STEM-based Learning to Chicago Youth Through Unique Collaborative Glass Making Activities. Students Were Introduced to The Alchemy of Glass Through Blown, Fused, Sculpted, Flame Worked, and Mosaic Glass Art. Bringing STEAM Learning to Life, Students Also Develop A Wide Range of Social-emotional Skills (SEL) Through The Collaborative Glass Making Process With Problem Solving, Teamwork, Trust, Vulnerability, Resilience, and Discipline Critical to Both Safety and Success.
