Seeding Galveston (SG) is A 501(c)3 Non-profit Urban Farm Project Whose Mission is to Develop Sustainable Urban Agriculture On Galveston Island Through Hands-on Teaching At Our Flagship Farm/agricultural Lab Site, Residential and Organizational Kitchen Garden Installations, Extensive Collaboration With Community Groups, Educational Programs, Tours and Farm Fair Days -- All Part of An Effort to Create An Island-wide Locavore Food Culture. Above All is Our Goal to Incubate and Support Multiple Market Farms On The Island As A Means to Ensure Adequate Locally Grown Food for Everyone While Creating A Local Economy to Support Both Gardeners and Market Farmers.
