THE NAOC HOLDS THIS CONFERENCE EVERY FOUR YEARS - THE LAST ONE WAS HELD IN WASHINGTON DC FROM AUGUST 16 to 20, 2016, and THE NEXT ONE WILL BE HELD IN 2020. THE CONFERENCE BRINGS TOGETHER LEADING SCIENTISTS, RESEARCHERS, STUDENTS, and WORLD EXPERTS IN THE FIELD of ORNITHOLOGY for WORKSHOPS, ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS, and SYMPOSIUMS ON A WIDE RANGE of ORNITHOLOGICAL TOPICS. THIS ENTITY WAS FORMED to HELP CONDUCT THE DC CONFERENCE HELD IN AUGUST 2016 and FUTURE CONFERENCES THROUGH AN ENTITY THAT CAN BRING ALL of THE WORLDS ORGANIZATIONS RELATING to THE FIELD of ORNITHOLOGY UNDER ONE UMBRELLA.
