IN SEPTEMBER 2024, THE FRIENDS of FORDS POND CELEBRATED THE GRAND OPENING of THE 202-ACRE FORDS POND COMMUNITY PARK, WITH THE COMPLETION of THE INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUND, RESTROOMS, PICNIC PAVILIONS, 2-MILE PAVED POND LOOP PATH, ELEVEN INTERPRETIVE PANELS, and THE CUSTOM BIRD VIEWING PLAZA to CONCLUDE THEIR 10-YEAR GOAL of FUNDRAISING and GRANT-WRITING for PARK IMPROVEM
