FRIENDS OF PARIVAAR INC

EIN 47-1323851 · Public Foundations (T30)

What they do

The Primary Purpose of Friends of Parivaar Inc is to Raise Awareness of and Secure Donations In Support of The Charitable Organization Called Parivaar In India. The Solicitation is Primarily In The Form of Quarterly Email Newsletters to Existing Donors (some of Who Reside In The State of NY) & Frequent Updates On The Website and Social Media About Impact of Their Monetary Donations In The Past. In These Updates, We May Provide Information On Where The Most Pressing Needs Are and How These Donors May Donate. Furthermore, We Encourage Donors to Ask Questions Via Email or Phone Calls & In Turn Become Advocates of Parivaar; We Do Not Intend to Use Fund-raising Campaigns Like Ticketed Musical Shows or Dinner Events or Auctions Etc. to Raise Awareness. We Believe Person to Person Connection This Way is The Most Efficient and Effective Way to Spread Awareness.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Worth asking: Expenses exceeded revenue by $64,537 this year. Ask whether that was planned or caused by a one-time event.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.

Has the pattern changed?

Colored bars = expense mix: how each year’s expenses were divided. Total expenses vs. revenue shows whether the charity spent less or more than it received. The current filing is first.
