The Auxiliary Has A Scholarship Fund for Students That Have Chosen The Healthcare Field for Their Profession. The Auxiliary Makes Contributions to The Fund, Managed By The Thomas Memorial Foundation. Numerous Nursing Students Apply for A Grant With The Thomas Memorial Hospital Foundation Based On The Amount of Financial Need for A Semester of Schooling. The Applications for A Grant Are Screened By The Thomas Memprial Hospital Foundation Staff and The Hospital Nursing Director. Based On The Students Need for The Semester The Auxiliary Grants Will Vary and The Foundation Will Fulfill The Remaining Amount Requested. for A Nursing Student to Accept The Grant That is Offered By This Program, They Must Agree to Serve Two Years of Healthcare Employment At The Thomas Memorial Hospital.
