What they do
Last Year We Provided English Classes to 177 Adult Students From 40 Countries. Our Operating Funds Were Essential In Sustaining Our Two Part-time Employees Who Coordinate Volunteers, Support Students,and Manage Daily Operations. With 90 Dedicated Volunteers, We Relied On Their Contributions to Teach, Assist In Classrooms, and Serve On Committees for Marketing, Fundraising, and Grant Writing. Many Volunteers Are Retirees Who Give Back, Strengthening ELC and The Denver Community. In 2024, ELC Conducted One Fundraising Event, Securing Sponsorships With Local Businesses Continued Grant Writing and Refreshed Our Board. By Strategically Allocating Funds and Volunteers, Weve Maximized Volunteer Engagement, Expanded Outreach, and Strengthened Financial Sustainability for Long-term Growth. Total Organization Expenses Cover Provision of Classroom Training, Specific Skills Training and Tutoring.
