CANAL MARKET DISTRICT AND ENTERPRISE HUB

EIN 47-3293365 · Food Programs (K30)

What they do

THE CANAL MARKET DISTRICT and ENTERPRISE HUB ("CMDEH") COMPLETED ITS TENTH YEAR of PROGRAMMING IN 2025. WE AGAIN HOSTED AN OUTDOOR SEASONAL FARMERS MARKET for SIX MONTHS of THE YEAR (MAY-OCTOBER). ALSO, WE EXTENDED OUR MARKET to BE YEAR-ROUND, WITH THE ADDITION of AN INDOOR MARKET AT THE ARCADE (NOV-APRIL). WE PARTICIPATED IN THE PRODUCE PERKS PROGRAM ALL SEASON, WHICH ALLOWS SNAP RECIPIENTS to RECEIVE UP to $25 EXTRA PER DAY to SPEND ON FRESH FRUITS and VEGETABLES. BETWEEN SNAP REDEMPTIONS and PRODUCE PERKS, WE DISTRIBUTED OVER $30,000 IN FOOD BENEFITS to LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN OUR AREA. EACH of OUR MARKETS HOSTS 50+ VENDORS, SMALL BUSINESS PEOPLE WHO ARE DIRECTLY IMPACTED BY THE OPPORTUNITY to SELL AT OUR VENUE. IN ADDITION, WE ALSO MANAGE THE CANAL MARKET PAVILION and MAKE THE SPACE AVAILABLE to THE PUBLIC for EVENTS.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Pay context: The highest compensation shown in this filing is $38,460 for BAILEY MCCOY (EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR). Compare pay with organizations of similar size and complexity.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.

Has the pattern changed?

Colored bars = expense mix: how each year’s expenses were divided. Total expenses vs. revenue shows whether the charity spent less or more than it received. The current filing is first.
