WE HAD 1047 AMATEUR PLAYERS COMPETE FROM 38 STATES and 6 CANADIAN PROVENCES AT LEGACY SPORTS USA. COMMENTS FROM OUR SURVEY - MANY of THE PLAYERS FELT THAT THE TOURNAMENT WAS RUN VERY WELL and ALSO COMPLEMENTED THE REFEREES, TOURNAMENT SOFTWARE PERSONNEL, VOLUNTEERS and STAFF for KEEPING THE TOURNAMENT MOVING THROUGHOUT THE 6 DAYS of EVENTS. A NUMBER of OUR AMBASSADORS WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN HELPING SCHOOLS (ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOLS) to OBTAIN 26 YOUTH GRANTS (FOR PICKLEBALL EQUIPMENT THAT WE SUPPLIED) IN ARIZONA and NEW MEXICO. WE ALSO STARTED A FIRST RESPONDER GRANT PROGRAM and HAVE PROVIDED 4 FIRE STATIONS IN AZ and 4 FIRE STATIONS IN NM WITH EQUIPMENT for THEIR FIRE STATIONS. OUR AMBASSADORS PARTICIPATED IN A COUPLE of TEACHING CONFERENCES IN ARIZONA - ADAPTABILITY SPORTS CONFERENCE and THE SOCIETY of HEALTH and PHYSICAL EDUCATORS (SHAPE) CONVENTION IN PHOENIX, AZ. WE D
