HAITI GENERAL and STUDENT PROGRAMS: In 2025, Safety Conditions In Haiti Continued to Deteriorate And, In Many Areas, Worsened Significantly. These Conditions Made It Extremely Difficult to Maintain The Level of In-country Programming and Direct Services The Organization Has Historically Provided. As A Result, We Made The Decision to Substantially Reduce Our On The Ground Presence and Limit Activities That Required In-country Staffing and Support. Despite These Challenges, The Organization Continued Its Core Mission Through Its Revised Program Model. In Particular, We More Focused Our Efforts to Support Students Participating In Relocation Opportunities, Which Were Made Possible Through The United States Parole Program. This Shift Enables Eligible Students to Continue Their Education In A Safer Environment Outside of Haiti, While Also Pursuing Longer-term Stability and Potential Immigration Pathways. The Organization Remains Committed to Supporting These Students Through This Transition
