THE ELEPHANT PROJECT HAS DEVELOPED NEW IDEAS AND NEW SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS THE THREATS TO ELEPHANT SURVIVAL, PROVIDING THEM A NEW FUTURE FREE OF CRUELTY AND DEATH AT THE HANDS OF HUMANS. OUR THREE-PRONG STRATEGY IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE IMMEDIATE PROTECTIONS TO ELEPHANTS WHILE DEVELOPING LONG-TERM SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS TO END THIS EPIC STRUGGLE. PRONG 1. END THE MARKET FOR IVORY AND OTHER ELEPHANT PARTS AND THE INHUMANE TREATMENT OF ELEPHANTS PRONG 2. END HUMAN-ELEPHANT CONFLICTS PRONG 3. DEVELOP HUMANE ECONOMIES THAT WILL PROVIDE PERPETUAL FUNDING FOR THE CARE AND PROTECTION OF WILD AND CAPTIVE ELEPHANTS
