The Rescue Was Able to Help 14 Horses In 2024. There Was Much Time Spent With People and Their Horses Working Through Problems to Make It Possible to Keep The Horse In The Home. Services Provided Were Chiropractor, Dentist, Farrier, Training, Vet, Euthanasia and Burial Assistance, Consultations On Problem Horses and How to Feed Older Horses Correctly. Three Horses Were Rescued. We Took In Beautiful Boone. He Was Painfully Thin and Had Laminitis That Left Him Rotated Over 20 Degrees. We Also Took In Rocky and COCO, Who Were Standing In 16 Inches of Mud In Their Paddock. We Helped Find Homes for 11 Horses Outside of Our Care. Simply Putting People Together and Spreading The Word Helps So Much. Also, Griffin Has Found His Forever Home With SRER. Two Years Ago We Found Him At A Kill Pen. He Was 300 Pounds Underweight, Missing An Eye, Had A Respiratory Infection and Worms. He Hung His Head Low and Drug His Feet When He Walked. He Was Traumatized and Unsure About Life, Yet Not Untrusting. Al
