THE PRIMARY PURPOSE of THE CORPORATION is to PROVIDE FINANCIAL and OTHER BENEFITS to EMPLOYEES of THE MIAMI BEACH FIRE DEPARTMENT AS WELL AS THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE EVENT of DEATH, SICKNESS, or DISABILITY. SECONDARY PURPOSES ARE to PROVIDE DEPENDENT CARE for MEMBERS AS WELL AS LOANS IN THE EVENT of NATURAL or OTHER DISASTERS AS WELL AS for SPECIAL TRAINING and EDUCATION. THE ASSETS of THE CORPORATION SHALL BE USED SOLELY for PURPOSES PERMITTED PURSUANT to SECTION 501(C)(9) of THE UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE CODE and THE REGULATIONS PROMULGATED THEREUNDER(THE " CODE") and UPON LIQUIDATION of THE CORPORATION ALL ASSETS SHALL BE TRANSFERRED to MEMBERS of THE CORPORATION IN A NON-DISCRIMINATORY MANNER.
