THE BROWN COUNTY COMMUNITY WOMENS CLUB, INC. WAS STARTED IN 2008 BY 13 WOMEN. IT HAS GROWN to OVER 275 MEMBERS. MEMBERS ARE DEVOTED to COMMUNITY PROJECTS THAT ENHANCE THE QUALITY of LIFE for THE COMMUNITYS YOUTH, SENIOR CITIZENS, and THOSE IN NEED. THE CLUB HAS NO PAID STAFF and THE MONEY RAISED is GIVEN BACK to THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THE CLUB SPONSORS THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES to RAISE MONIES: GOLF OUTING, SPRING and FALL CARD and GAME DAYS, BRAT FRY, BRIDGE DUPLICATE/MARATHON GAMES, and A PACKER PARTY. EACH EVENT HAS 50/50 RAFFLES and SILENT AUCTIONS WHICH MAKE IT POSSIBLE for BCCWC to DONATE 53,300 to LOCAL NON-PROFITS THIS YEAR. IN ADDITION, CLUB MEMBERS DONATE OVER 12,000 HOURS of TIME to CLUB ACTIVITIES and COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS. SOME of THESE PROJECTS ARE AS FOLLOWS: BUILDING QUILTS for HUMANITY, GIFTS for CHRISTMAS FAMILIES, ST. JOHN MINISTRIES MEALS, HOUSE of HOPE MONTHLY BIRTHDAY PARTY, SMILE BOUQUETS,FOOD PANTRY COLLECTIONS, THINKING of YOU CARDS, or LOVEABLE KNITTED CROCH
