The 2024 Vertebrate Pest Conference Was Held In Monterey, CA March 11-14 2024. The Majority of The Councils Efforts Were Spent Hosting This Conference. There Were 10 Sessions, With 80 Presentations. Additionally, There Were 18 Posters Presentations During Our Special Poster Session. This Resulted In 60 Extended Abstracts and Manuscripts Submitted to The VPC Editor for Publication Consideration. of These, 52 Have Been Published to Date.Volunteer Hours:Jan March 2024 Chair, Past-chair and The Long-standing Arrangements Committee Chair Easily Spent 40 Hours Each (total 120 Hours) Prepping and Administering The Conference. This Included Organizing Speakers, Presentations, and Preparing The Meeting Space. This Also Included Coordinating With The Host Hotel, Moderating Sessions and Troubleshooting While Administering The Conference. During This Time, The Business Manager/caregiver Also Provided 20 Hours, Assisting With The Administration of The Conference and Maintaining The Accounts.April 2
