THE ACTIVITIES of THE LVOR VOLUNTEER RESCUE SQUAD INCLUDE SAVING LIVES, ADMINISTERING EMERGENCY FIRST AID, and PROMOTING SAFETY IN OUR AREA. THE SQUAD is RUN BY A COMBINATION of VOLUNTEERS and A PAID EMERGENCY CREW. THE SQUAD HAS SERVED ITS COMMUNITY and SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES SINCE 1959. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE ALSO INCLUDED IN THE SQUADS ARTICLES of INCORPORATION, ARTICLE II and MAKE of 100% of THE TOTAL ACTIVITY TIME. FROM AUGUST 2020 THROUGH JULY 2021, THE DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS and STAFF ANSWERED THE CALL for HELP 342 TIMES. OVER L,900 MAN HOURS WERE SPENT ANSWERING CALLS and TRAINING, AS WELL AS MANY OTHER ACTIVITIES BY OUR DEVOTED MEMBERSHIP. THE SQUAD PROUDLY PARTICIPATES IN ALL COMMUNITY EVENTS INCLUDING THE TOWN of IVOR CHRISTMAS PARADE and 4TH of JULY CELEBRATIONS. IN THE FALL of 2020, WE WERE ABLE to ADD A SECOND BUNK ROOM to ENABLE MALES and FEMALES to HAVE SEPARATE SLEEPING QUARTERS. THE VOLUNTEERS TURNED THE EXISTING OFFICE INTO A BUNK ROOM and WERE ABLE to BUILD A NEW OFF
